    Bodyweight exercise …
Bodyweight exercise can, indeed, make you big(ger). Start doing pushups and chinups throughout the day. Eventually, get to the point where you can do 30 pups at a time and 10 chins. Now, do 10 sets of those so you’re doing 100 chins and 300 pushups throughout the day. You WILL get bigger — lats, triceps, chest, delts.

To my knowledge, doing body weight exercises is great for conditioning, but doesn’t build too much muscle. That’s why if you want to be big you must eventually go to heavy weight training.

Check out “The Naked Warrior” by Pavel Tsatsouline, Soviet Special Forces conditioning coach. That book is worth its weight in gold!

It only focuses on 2 bodyweight exerciese: The Pistol (one legged squat) and the one-arm push up.

It’s got good quality, no BS info in there.
