You talk about …
You talk about pavel like you are an RKC, which I can easily tell you aren’t even close if you think this video is a good demo of a swing. Yes there is a bend in the knees but it is not a squat at all, it is a hip-hinging movement. The movement should be much more forward and back as opposed to up and down like this awful demo is inadvertantly promoting.

Alright. I know nothing.

Yes, it is simple. …
Yes, it is simple. Instruction on breathing???? Don’t hold your breath. Pavel would be ashamed of your attitude. Have a more honorable attitude comrad, the swing is simple. Thos who think it is a complex movement are the ones at fault.

The kettlebell …
The kettlebell swing is NOT a squat…and where was the instruction on breathing? This is exactly why only qualified kettlebell instructors need to be using YouTube to try and educate viewers. Yes, the swing is the foundation of kettlebell movements, but that doesn’t mean it’s simple. Ugh.

That is awful swing …
That is awful swing form. Not even close to right. There is no squat in the swing

Its not going to …
Its not going to help you burn more fat, but its a good addition to a workout (plus kettlebells are the coolest thing since sliced bread). The only way to ‘burn fat’ is use more calories than you take it - some things are more efficient than other, but nothing burns fat itself. Looks like fun though

Hold up, are you saying that if i do that 60 seconds im going to burn more fat along with my other routines? If so, can i do it with a 20 lb dumbbell?

You shouldn’t talk …
If you truly want to imrpove your health, set up a proper exercise program and a nutrition plan for yourself with realistic goals. Dont expect to lose 10 pounds in a week, but stick to it and you will slowly melt away that extra bit of fat until you are lean and mean! Always remember, ” you are what you eat! “
You shouldn’t talk about yourself like that kkristen1, be happy with who you are, have confidence. Big girls can be beautiful too you know

I use a heavy …
I use a heavy dumbell to do that exercise simply because in my home gym I don’t have any Kettle bells. I am pushing 60 and I have been using that exercise in my routine and have had great results doing it. I have never been injured doing this particular movent because it is smooth. Compound movements combined with speed burn fat and build muscle. I have been working well over four 4 decades and trust me this is something you want to incorporate into your fitness program.

And you can hurt …
And you can hurt yourself quite easily with that kind of momentum. I’d rather do more controlled exercises.

I think someone …
I think someone would look silly doing that at the gym…. That’s probably just me though.
You don’t need to go to a gym to do it though, it would be a much better investment to get your own weights than paying for a gym membership, in my opinion.
Maybe not kettlebells since they’re quite expensive and their weight isn’t adjustable as far as I know. But I’m sure any kettlebell exercise can be successfully be done using free weights(dumbells).

You’re joking… She looks great. It’s always humorous to hear someone make a comment like that because they are typically the ones in the worst shape. Ditch the negative attitude, pick up a kettlebell.
